It is also found in sub-Saharan countries, but they are rare in rainforests regions. The average size of a serval is 54-62 cm and it weighs up to 9-18 kg.

In captivity servals have a diverse diet, Servals eat birds, crabs, frogs, reptiles, fish, rats, and some large insects. A serval can jump more than 9 feet, so they easily hunt the birds and eat them.

Servals don’t eat animals that are big in size. Servals don’t eat plants and vegetation. Servals don’t eat zebras, raptors such as eagles, hawks, falcons because they fly very high and a serval can’t hunt them. Servals don’t eat kudu and warthogs because they are very large in size. Servals don’t eat humans but they often attack them as serval is an aggressive animal.
