Does 3M 5200 adhere to StarBoard?

3M’s 5200 caulk works well as a water sealant, but King StarBoard® cannot be permanently attached to itself or other materials using this caulk.

Will epoxy stick to StarBoard?

Use a high-quality epoxy that sets slowly. Clean the aluminum contact area with solvent after it has been sanded with 80 or 120 grit sandpaper. After you’ve cleaned it, don’t touch it. To improve the epoxy’s adhesion to the Starboard, apply a light flame treatment.
