BMW professional media is a method of using an external monitor for the purposes of displaying information from your BMW. Please note that while BMW professional media can enhance your driving experience, it should not be used as a replacement to safe driving practices. In order to safely operate any vehicle, it requires driver concentration and full attention.
What does BMW professional media offer and in what ways does it enhance my BMW driving experience?
BMW professional media enables you to take advantage of the following: Radio, Telephone and Navigation functions, display of additional Vehicle information e.g. tyre pressure or door lock status, control of these functions from your steering wheel controls and increase in speed compared to DVD based systems.
How do I activate BMW professional media?
If you have a new generation BMW, your car will come with the system pre-installed. If you have an older model, it is possible to install the system at a BMW service centre.

• The system will only work with compatible monitors, which must be wired to the cigarette lighter socket in your car.
