What sound does a turtle make?
Ethan Hayes
A turtle makes very little noise, so it is hard to tell what noise it can make. Some people would say that turtles do not make any sounds at all, but this is not true. Turtles are known to hiss when they are scared or in danger. The hissing noise is a little loud, so it can be heard by human ears. The animal makes a hissing sound when it feels threatened because it thinks the noise will keep the turtle away from being hurt or killed by an enemy.
Silky Terrier Dog Breed Playing Aro... Silky Terrier Dog Breed Playing AroundI have been told that turtles eat flies and mosquitoes as their main source of food. Flies are smaller than mosquitoes, so they are easier to catch. Mosquitoes are larger in size, so it would be harder for a turtle to catch them. If I had to choose which one was better food to eat, I would choose the mosquito because it is larger and has more fat content.
The enemies of turtles are very numerous. Snakes are known to eat turtles, as well as eagles, which is very common. I have also heard people say that some deer will eat turtle eggs if they find them.
I have found out that the shell of a turtle is its strongest part, but it is also vulnerable at times too. If one tried hard enough, he could break the shell of a turtle and if he is very strong, he could break its neck too. Another question I had asked is why turtles cannot move at such fast speeds as other animals such as dogs or cats can. My answer came from my family who said that since they live in water most of the time, it affects their legs and feet because they become weaker.
The recap is that turtles are known to hiss when they are scared or in danger. I have been told that turtles eat flies and mosquitoes as their main source of food.
