Can I blow air out of my nose after rhinoplasty?

It’s important to avoid blowing your nose and sneezing for at least three to four weeks after your nose job, but Dr. Laverson’s rhinoplasty results are long-lasting. Bleeding and/or displacement of carefully arranged parts of the nose can occur as a result of blowing your nose, which can be as painful as it is disruptive.

When can I start blowing my nose after septoplasty?

One week after surgery, do not blow your nose. It is forbidden to put anything in your nose. If you must sneeze, do so naturally by opening your mouth and letting out a long, deep sneeze. Following removal of packing, use saline nasal washes to keep your nasal passageways open and flush out mucus.
