Where do guinea pigs sleep?

Writer Ethan Hayes

Guinea pigs like to sleep in a cage, usually at the top of your cage. They love to protect you from predators and they are also good guarders. Guinea pigs do not like to be cuddled, because they can easily get scared and run away. A guinea pig’s breath is hard for us to stand, it smells really bad, so don’t kiss them! A guinea pig doesn’t like baths with water or their own urine because that will dry out their skin. Never pierce their nose or tie them up because then it can get infected.

Guinea pigs don’t like to be outside because they forget what they’re doing – remember? They forget everything! So when they get left outside they might think that they’re hungry and then bite you!

In addition, Guinea pigs are cute and furry. They live in small habitats yet they are active during the day so they need regular exercise. You can find a guinea pig cage separately or in other packages, but you should always pay attention to its quality because the type of material it is made of is very important. Guinea pigs should be kept indoors as much as possible because their fur coat does not facilitate withstand extreme temperature changes.

Moreover, they love to chew and at some point will most likely bring some form of a chewing object into their cage. It is best to provide them with a number of different kinds of wood and things they can chew on so that they don’t choose your bed or mattress. You can also provide things like cardboard boxes, plastic water bottles, and toilet paper rolls for them to chew on and play with.

They are social animals. This means that they need lots of attention and will live a happier, healthier life if they have plenty of time to play with their owners… However, guinea pigs should never be left alone for long periods of time. Guinea pigs love to play and explore; many prefer to run around free in a playpen that is three times their size.
