Other cats prefer to sleep in trees. Sometimes they’ll use their claws to climb up into a tree for this purpose; other times they’ll find a spot on the ground and then jump up into a tree. Cats that live in climates without trees, like the Savannah, may choose to sleep on the ground instead of in a tree.

Another popular sleeping spot for cats is inside a den, such as a cave or a hole. Some cats will make dens out of branches and leaves; others will find an existing den and rest there until it’s time to move on.
There are also cats that will sleep anywhere and everywhere. These cats may sleep on top of a car or inside a box. They’re not picky, as long as they can get some rest.
