Should I paint fireplace white?

Consider your surroundings when picking a paint color for your fireplace! If you want to make your room feel lighter and more airy, go with white or a lighter color scheme. For a fireplace to blend in with an otherwise white wall, choose a white shade.

Can you paint fireplace brick white?

When painting brick or stone, you’ll need to use a primer that’s specifically designed for those materials. Begin by painting over the grout lines, the outer edges of the bricks, and any other areas where your paint roller can’t reach.

Is whitewashing brick permanent?
