Why Is It So Hard To Go To Church?

Writer David Wilson

Going to church isn’t always easy for various reasons. Sometimes people are too busy to find the time to get up on a Sunday to go to a church service and sit for up to two hours and listen to a sermon. Often times, our lives can be so consumed with other things to the point that we don’t prioritize to make time for church.

Busy

One of the main reasons why going to church is so hard is because people are busy. Some people work more than one jobs, which will result in them not having the energy or time to go to church. You’d be surprised at how busy people are. Also, if people have kids or other things to attend to, that will cause them to be even more busy so that they won’t have any time for church.

Not Used To It

If you’re not used to going to church on a regular basis, then it can be very difficult for you to get into a routine. This is just how it is when you’re not used to doing something. Going to church requires discipline or even a routine for you to really get into it. If not, then there will be some days where you don’t feel like going at all.

Why

You have to know exactly why you want to go to church. Your main reason should be to learn more about God, have a better relationship with him, and to fellowship with other people. These are all good reasons to want to go to church. However, if you don’t know exactly why you’re going to church, then that will make it a lot harder for you to attend.

Conclusions

Some people have been going to church their entire lives, which makes it easier for them to do. However, if you’re not used to attending church at all, then it can be hard for you to go. It all comes down to knowing why you want to go and prioritizing so that you can be on a set schedule to attend regularly.
