Why Is My Ex Boyfriend Being Petty?
David Wilson
We’ve all been in that situation before. You’re stuck dealing with a petty ex who makes you want to tear your hair out. Nothing is more aggravating than having to be the larger person, particularly when you’ve always been the bigger person in the relationship. I’ll offer you some advice on how I dealt with my shady ex-boyfriends and how to avoid being petty in the future.
Silky Terrier Dog Breed Playing Aro... Silky Terrier Dog Breed Playing AroundNow the remaining 20% have made it their personal goal to make my life a living hell. They broke up with me, yet they are still the petty ones. I’m sure you’ll understand. You’re crazy, excessively emotional, you make people insecure, blah blah, etc. To me, these kinds of ex-partners are the WORST!! The kind of ex that enjoys playing the victim and is petty while doing so.
These individuals are very difficult to deal with because they never take a moment to look in the mirror and recognize their flaws because they are too preoccupied with exposing yours. They’ll drive you insane because you’ll feel compelled to explain yourself and show that you weren’t the issue to people who don’t care.
BUT, AS YOU CAN SEE, THIS IS THE PROBLEM! One thing I’ve learned and perfected is that it’s none of your business what other people think of you. So what if someone thinks you’re insane, petty, a liar, or unstable because you know the truth?
One of the most fascinating aspects of life is that what people do to you ALWAYS comes back to them. So, if you continue to be a nice person, you will harvest positive karma; but, if you continue to do wrong by others, you will continue to get bad karma. So, as corny as it may seem, don’t give in to pettiness. They don’t deserve that much time or energy anymore. I guarantee you when someone tries to debate and subtweet without receiving a response from you, they look and sound stupid.
