WILL 37S FIT ON A LEVELED F250?

Writer Gabriel Cooper

The Ford F250 is a medium-duty truck manufactured by Ford. It was introduced in 1976 as the F-250 and F-350, replacing the previous F-Series trucks (F-100, F-200, and F-250). The F-250/350 was developed through a collaboration between Ford and General Motors (GM) to build a truck that could be sold at prices competitive with GM’s medium-duty trucks. It is the successor to the Ford A100 series, which began production in 1955. It came in two wheelbase lengths: 122 inches (3,100 mm) for single rear wheels or 142 inches (3,600 mm) for dual rear wheels.

The Ford F250 models have varying wheel sizes depending on the model and year of manufacture; for example, the XL (2011-2019) model has a wheel size of 17×7.5 and a wheel bolt pattern of 8x170mm, the XLT, Lariat, and King Ranch (2011-2019) have a wheel size of 18×8 and a wheel bolt pattern of 8x170mm. Platinum and Limited (2011-2019) have a wheel size of 20×8 and a wheel bolt pattern of 8x170mm.

The 37″ tires come with varying diameters i.e., 15″ (37×14.50-17), 16″ (385/70-16), 17″ (37×12.50-17), 18″ (37×11.50-18, 37×12.50-18, 37×13.50-18), 20″ (37×12.50-20), 22″ (37×12.50-22, 37×13.50-22), 24″ (315/50-24, 37×13.50-24). However, it is important to note that not all tires are exactly the height or overall diameter they state. It might say it is a 35X12.50-20, but the actual diameter noted in the specs is 34.6″.

The answer to this question is yes, the 37s will fit on a level F250, but it will most likely be a very tight fit. The reason for this is that the 37s are very wide and tall, so the bed of your truck will be pushed up against the cab of your truck. This means there’s not much room for the fuel tank and spare tire to fit in between them. It shouldn’t be an issue if you have a raised cab. It might be challenging to fit everything into place if you have a lowered cab (like most F150s).
