Moles are insectivores. Their main food source is earthworms. They do not eat any plant seeds, roots, or seeds, so they do not consume any rodents or poisons for rats or baits used to manage rodents.  Three ways to help rid the lawn from moles

1. Get rid of the main food sources for moles, bugs, grubs, and worms using a pesticide, such as Talstar that can be purchased here.
2. Repel this mole.
3. Make use of bait like Mole Patrol to kill moles.

Create a hole from about 3 to 5 feet at the opposite end of your assessment hole. Put one or two worms (or two) grubs into each hole. With a probe or pencil, you can move the bait down as low as you are able to. Be sure that each grubby or worm is on the ground or runway. Another option is to soak a cloth in ammonia before shoving the ammonia-soaked cloth into the holes. Another household chemical employed in the same manner to repel voles and moles is chlorine bleach.
